Whats been going on, what i am up to...

Well, it has been a while since i have done much on Da really, but today, i replied to all of my comments, and took a look at most peoples journal's and left some comments for them.. Also i am going to work on a new art piece for a dear friend on here called somvold, who kindly did a sweet drawing for me a while back. So, i will pull my finger out and get the ball rolling shortly! :relaxed:

I have just spent the weekend at my best friends house, which was very fun, we always have a good laugh together.. It is my mums birthday on wednesday, which we are all looking forward to, we all hope she will have a lovely day, also on the saturday after all the deranged family members from all walks of life, are meeting up with us at a pub in coventry, should be good, fingers crossed! :giggle:

This video took a lot out of me so I am not doing an art piece to advertise it on this website.and so here is the explanation of it.

FLCL (Fooly Cooly, Furi Kuri) had to have been one of the craziest animes I have ever seen.When it came to doing an amv for it, there was two choices:First you got the in-your-face wierdness of the series that was it's trademark.and second, you got the backbone of the story which is a coming- of -age tale about a pre-adolescent kid in which extraordinary things happen to him.Being that I hate people and know how most of them are shallow and want the answers and messages delivered to them on a platinum plate by servants in togas, I went with what the series threw at you the most: the insanity.SOAD does it best (and it seems that others did the same thing...poorly.)I had been throwing around ides in my head about songs that fit this series for a long time now, and had some really solid ideas for doing an emotionally charged video for that coming-of-age theme.But I figured that people would respond a bit better to the obvious, but the other theme was also pretty strong as well.And so....I did both.With the bigger theme as the video , and the other theme done as a seperate music video as the credits..I felt that I covered the two themes pretty well, and made it distiguished from the other amv's..simply because it had substance.(not saying that all amv's suck, but most of them do, especially the other FLCL amvs that mine got thrown in with)
So in short,the video was the insult, and the credits was the apology.but then I said ' t'hell with it ' and threw something random in it as well.
